Not to us, O LORD, not to us, But to Your name give glory Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth. Why should the nations say, “Where, now, is their God?” But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold, The work of man’s hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see; They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell; They have hands, but they cannot feel; They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make [...]

“Then Jesus told His disciples, If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26

“He who loves transgression loves strife, And he who exalts his gate seeks destruction. He who has a deceitful heart finds no good, And he who has a perverse tongue falls into evil. He who begets a scoffer does so to his sorrow, And the father of a fool has no joy.“ Proverbs 17:19-21

“Lord, teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 The Lord called one of our Warwick family, coach Ben Moore, home last Saturday. He was doing a eulogy for a former player and collapsed while speaking. Today was coach Moore’s funeral. After the funeral, I reconnected with many old friends. I haven’t seen all four of my football coaches at one time in 28 years. It was a blessing to see them and many others. Death is certain and our days are numbered, “It is appointed unto […]
